About the role
The Short Service Commission (SSC Tech Entry) provides an opportunity for young technical graduates to join the Indian Army as officers and become more capable, bold & confident while leaving for civil life. As per the Indian Army SSC Tech Job Profile, the qualified candidates will be allotted various roles and responsibilities by the concerned authority shared below:
Monitors and manages the supply chain for the inventory of spares through the ordnance channels and local purchase.
Perform duties as Field Engineers (Engineering Corps), Electrical & Mechanical Engineers (EME Corps) or Communication Engineers (Signals Corps) Engineers.
You'll move around the country and generally be at the rear of the forward line of troops.
You will be required to assist in training, guidance, leading and managing technical resources, and providing technical advice to the commanders of the army.
