INDIA Procurement Specialist in

This role is proposed to support the development of India procurement organization. You will contribute to the implementation of Procurement Excellence roadmaps within INDIA by managing transformation and multi-layered projects while simultaneously supporting Sourcing Category Managers.
You will collaborate closely with members across the Procurement Excellence in HQ, Sourcing category managers and Purchase-to-Pay team in INDIA.
Role Description & Responsibilities
We are looking for a proactive Procurement Excellence Specialist who will:
- Actively contribute to procurement strategy and proposals, with the objective of improving performance and bringing added value to the procurement team and Dassault Systèmes
- Communicate a clear vision of the India procurement organization, considering both local opportunities and constraints
- Define and drive the regional cross-functional roadmap together with the India Procurement Director and the Procurement Excellence Director, including:
- Identifying the most relevant local action plans for India
- Managing local initiatives
- Adapting and meaningfully implementing worldwide (WW) initiatives
- Ensure sourcing managers have the necessary knowledge and resources to perform their jobs effectively
- Challenge and strengthen local processes, including risk management and contract templates
- Support the procurement organization in increasing its maturity on sustainability, ensuring responsible practices are embedded locally and aligned with global priorities
- Drive WW projects where India has a significant impact
Procurement Excellence is serving the whole 3DS Sourcing to Pay stream by:
- Managing transformation and multi-layered projects including organization, processes and tools
- Defining framework on Processes, Compliance, Sustainability, Technology, Communication, Spend data management, Integration of Newly Acquired Companies
- Supporting Sourcing Category Managers liaising with P2P teams, facilitating communication with Internal Customers and Suppliers while improving Reporting and Performance Management
As a member of the Procurement Excellence , your mission will include the following:
- Support global roadmap implementation and participate in the India’s project roadmap definition
- Drive various transformation projects that will help harmonize, streamline processes and improve efficiencies
- Coordinate and execute the integration of Newly Acquired Companies within 3DS Procurement : FIT/GAP analysis, define convergence plan, coordinate operations, deploy 3DS Policies, operational processes, train and embark all NEWCO stakeholders …
- Implement supplier risk framework (including supplier monitoring) and procurement sustainability strategy within INDIA GEO
- Support Sourcing Category Managers to build their yearly strategy and spend analysis
- Ensure effective Sourcing performance tracking, analysis and reporting (SUM, Savings, Sourcing projects)
- Work on communication and training initiatives to ensure compliance and implementation of 3DS Global Procurement Policy
- Identify relevant framework & processes for Sourcing Category Manager and provide useful content and materials to support the business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, procurement excellence, or transformation roles, preferably within a global or matrix organization
- Experience on SAP implementation / working knowledge preferred.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, contract management, supplier management, and procure-to-pay (P2P) operations
- Proven experience in driving transformation initiatives, process improvement, and cross-functional projects at regional or global levels
- Exposure to procurement strategy development, spend analysis, and performance tracking (savings, sourcing pipeline, reporting)
- Experience in supplier risk management, compliance frameworks, and sustainability initiatives within procurement
- Familiarity with integration of newly acquired entities, including FIT/GAP analysis and process harmonization, is a strong advantage
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams, including sourcing, P2P, and business stakeholders
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams
- Proficiency in procurement tools, ERP systems and data analytics/reporting tools
- High level of adaptability, ownership, and a proactive mindset to drive continuous improvement and innovation
