YCP Renoir | Business Development
Role
Telemarketing Manager – Business Development
Employment Type
Full-time
Location
Remote
Experience Level
3–5 Years (B2B Preferred)
About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, articulate Telemarketing Manager to drive outbound business development for YCP Renoir. This is a B2B role focused on reaching senior decision-makers (MDs, CEOs, CXOs, and promoters) at manufacturing and industrial companies, introducing the company's capabilities, and setting up qualified introductory meetings for our business development directors. This role requires the confidence and polish to engage credibly with C-suite leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to identified prospect companies (manufacturing, FMCG, chemicals, steel, agri-business, logistics, and related industrial sectors) to introduce YCP Renoir, with a minimum target of 3 meetings booked per week
- Reach and engage senior decision-makers – MDs, CEOs, CXOs, and promoters – with a clear, credible value proposition
- Qualify leads by understanding the prospect's business context, challenges, and decision-making structure before booking a meeting
- Navigate gatekeepers and manage high-level rejection or resistance with professional confidence
- Schedule and confirm introductory meetings, coordinating calendars and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all outreach, conversations, and lead status in the CRM (Salesforce)
- Achieve weekly targets for call volume, lead generation, and conversions
- Follow up consistently on warm leads, unanswered outreach, and post-meeting next steps
- Work closely with the Business Development Director to align outreach with current sector campaigns and case studies
- Research target companies before outreach – understanding their business, financial performance, manufacturing footprint, recent news, leadership structure, and likely operational or growth challenges, to tailor the opening conversation and identify the right entry point
- Report weekly on call volume, connect rate, meetings booked, and pipeline progress
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate in any discipline
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B telemarketing, inside sales, or lead generation, with a proven track record of engaging senior stakeholders (MDs, CEOs, CXOs, and promoters) – ideally within a consulting firm, professional services, or industrial B2B environment
- Demonstrated success in executive-level cold calling and appointment setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with a professional, polished telephone manner suited to executive-level conversations (additional languages a plus)
- Skilled at researching target accounts and industry sectors, and tailoring the pitch to specific executive pain points
- Working knowledge of CRM tools (Salesforce preferred; familiarity with Zoho or HubSpot a plus)
- Target-driven mindset with the discipline to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills to balance live calling with account research
- A go-getter attitude – resilient, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure in a high-volume, target-driven environment
What We Offer
- Competitive fixed salary plus monthly incentives tied to the number of meetings attended
- Structured onboarding on YCP Renoir's methodology, case studies, and target sectors
- A clear growth path toward leading an inside sales team
