About the role

Description

 We are seeking to add an experienced Quality Manager who will be responsible for all quality issues related to producing orders to customer specifications, works with production to improve efficiencies and product performance, ensure all testing is done accurately and timely, works with R&D to develop and improve products. In charge of implementing ISO procedures and maintaining quality manual. Manages process with maximum efficiency in a safe and cost-efficient manner. Responsible to ensure that quality lab is scheduled and staffed. 


Responsibilities - 

 

  • Ensure that all testing is being performed and any products out of spec will be placed on hold. This includes testing raw materials and reviewing COAs from suppliers
  • Manage lab facility by ordering lab supplies, maintaining equipment and calibration records, interviewing/training lab technicians, providing technical support for hardware and software systems in the lab, and scheduling
  • Ensure that finished product quality meets our internal production specifications and customer specifications
  • Address customer complaints and SCAR’s, root cause analysis, Generate CoA’s and CoC’s
  • Reviewing testing and production logs to ensure that all production and quality data is accurate
  • Send COAs to customers for production material where required
  • Maintain the calibration system and records along with retains of Production
  • Ability to develop and execute processes to comply with ISO-9001:2015 standards.
  • Understanding of all products being produced in facility in relation to all technical data, and performance on customers’ equipment
  • Keeping all material specifications up to date and in order
  • Manage all material that is placed on hold to ensure that it is quarantined and dispositioned.
  • Manage quarantine areas in plant, marinating hold database and report to management the daily, weekly and monthly quality reports
  • Help with product development process as needed

Requirements

 

  • Experience implementing quality management systems compliant with ISO9001:2015.
  • Building envelope products, paper or plastics industry experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience in a production facility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
  • Six sigma certification is preferred.
  • Must have soundly demonstrated experience in computer applications such as Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with MS Dynamics AX desired
