Role Description This is a full-time for an InDesign Expert based in or near Coimbatore. The InDesign Expert will design and produce high-quality layouts for digital and print materials such as brochures, marketing collateral, user guides, and app-related documentation. The role involves working closely with designers, developers, and marketing teams to translate requirements into visually appealing, consistent designs that align with brand guidelines. Day-to-day tasks include creating templates, refining typography, managing styles, preparing files for print and digital publishing, and ensuring accuracy across multiple versions and formats. The InDesign Expert will also support asset organization, collaborate on design reviews, and optimize workflows for efficient production.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Adobe InDesign for layout design, template creation, typography, and document setup.
- Proficiency with related design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) for asset creation and optimization.
- Experience producing print-ready and digital-ready files, including knowledge of color modes, bleed, margins, and export settings.
- Ability to interpret briefs and collaborate effectively with design, development, and marketing teams.
- Attention to detail in reviewing content, ensuring consistency in styles, and checking for errors across versions.
- Good organizational skills for managing multiple projects, file structures, and version control in a remote environment.
- Strong communication skills in English and comfort working independently in a remote, full-time setup.
- Relevant academic background in Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with web and app product environments or tech companies is an advantage.
