Independent Reserve Singapore is seeking an experienced Trader to join our growing team. This foundational role for our Singapore office would suit a proven trading professional with a background in institutional or proprietary trading, ideally within digital assets, FX, or other fast-moving markets. A strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets and trading strategies will be highly valued. In this role, there is plenty of scope for growth. No day is ever the same, but some of the key activities will include: - Provide timely and accurate quotes to clients and respond to trade-related queries, ensuring clear communication and excellent client service - Execute and hedge client trades while maintaining discipline around the firm's risk management framework and adhering to established trading limits - Book and reconcile trades, while supporting the OTC desk with operational tasks to ensure smooth end-to-end trade execution - Build and maintain strong relationships with exchanges, liquidity providers, and other key market participants to optimize execution quality and market access - Oversee daily trading operations, including opening and closing the trading book, ensuring all positions and records are accurate and compliant
