Join us as an Independent Price Verification Analyst

What you’ll do
As our Independent Price Verification Analyst, you’ll be responsible for the production of Independent Price Verification (IPV), PruVal and associated processes on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. You’ll operate the controls, End‑User Developed Applications and IT systems used to record, process and manage IPV activity, while contributing to management information used to oversee the service provided to NatWest Markets. Alongside this, you’ll support ad‑hoc activity arising from new trades, deals or business changes that have an impact on IPV.
Your work will focus on:
- Taking accountability, as part of a team, for the timely and accurate completion of assigned IPV processes
- Securing the effective operation of controls, including the accurate recording and maintenance of supporting evidence
- Producing management information, or the underlying data used within MI, for the products covered
- Checking data integrity, investigating issues, and escalating concerns for timely remediation
- Responding to stakeholder queries and challenge related to the products covered
The skills you'll need
Be the detail‑driven valuation professional who brings rigour, insight and control to independent price verification. To succeed in this role, you’ll bring a solid understanding of an investment bank’s balance sheet and product set. You’ll also be comfortable working with large data sets, as you analyse trends and identify issues in a controlled and regulated environment. A recognised professional qualification in Finance, such as CA, MBA or FRM, would be beneficial, with equivalent experience also valued.
You’ll also demonstrate:
- Exposure to IPV, PruVal or related valuation concepts
- Working knowledge of accounting and regulatory requirements impacting products such as derivatives
- Strong Microsoft skills, including advanced use of Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot and supporting features
