About the role

College Co-op Student Job Description: The Informatics division is hiring a Co-op to join its Commercial Risk Analytics Team. The team is responsible for helping to analyze risk profiles for IBC's ACA & Medicare products to assess risk, opportunities, and potential impacts to reimbursement level for our risk adjustment programs. Using tools including SQL Server and Tableau, the Co-op will assist in developing clear business specifications, troubleshooting and recommending solutions to improve the quality of management reporting for the Risk Adjustment Team. Additionally, the Co-op will participate in various corporate wide projects that will drive system initiatives and database projects and support the Risk Analytics team across various activities, including: · Actively monitoring the EDGE Server submissions operations · Assisting in annual ACA Risk Adjustment Data Validation (RADV) Audit · Helping to provide analytical and decision support to the leadership team · Translating operational metrics into business results & forecasts Qualifications: · Advanced analytical technical and problem-solving skills. · Ability to persuade, negotiate, and resolve issues. · Ability to define complex business issues and determine "best fit" solutions. · Experience analyzing large datasets, demonstrable technical experience and data management skills including data development, data extraction, transformation, and QA. · Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software programs preferred · Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio) · Excellent oral/written communication skills required. · Excellent problem-solving ability. · Working knowledge of SQL programing skills with emphasis in large datasets · Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Data Tools (SSIS, SSRS) Preferred Majors: Business Analytics, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science or Information Systems, Mathematics or Statistics Classification: Junior
