Qualifications & Experience
Education
MBA from a premier institution (IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, or equivalent top-tier global business school) — strongly preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Certifications in SEO/GEO, Digital Marketing, AI/ML, or Analytics (Google, BrightEdge, Moz, HubSpot, Semrush, Profound) are an advantage.
Experience Profile
8+ years of progressive experience in digital strategy, SEO, content strategy, or digital marketing — with at least 3+ years in a strategic/consulting capacity.
Minimum 1–2 years of demonstrated experience in GEO, LLM content strategy, or AI-driven search optimization.
Strong track record of designing and executing search/digital visibility strategies for enterprise clients, ideally in a consulting or services environment.
Client-facing credibility at the VP/Director level — comfortable leading strategic conversations with pharma brand, digital, and medical leadership.
Experience working in matrixed organizations across capability leads, account teams, and senior leadership.
Life Sciences Domain
Deep understanding of the life sciences digital ecosystem — pharma, biotech, medtech, or healthcare services.
Familiarity with HCP engagement, DTC marketing, omnichannel pharma strategy, and MLR/MedLegal review processes.
Understanding of pharma commercial excellence, therapy area brand strategy, and regulatory frameworks (FDA, EMA, CDSCO).
Technical & Functional Skills
GEO & AI Search: Entity optimization, Schema.org structured data, knowledge graph integration, LLM content attribution, prompt-influenced content architecture.
SEO: Technical SEO, semantic SEO, E-E-A-T, Core Web Vitals, content architecture, international SEO.
Tools: SEMrush, Profound, Ahrefs, BrightEdge, Conductor, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Search Console, Looker Studio.
AI Platforms: Working knowledge of ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot, and Claude for content testing and GEO monitoring.
Strategy & Communication: Executive-quality storytelling, workshop facilitation, strategic framework design, and stakeholder management.
