Role Description The Incident Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamnagar. This position is responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of incidents, coordinating responses, and ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on construction and operational activities. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring incident queues, assessing severity, assigning and tracking actions, and communicating status updates to relevant stakeholders. The Incident Manager will collaborate closely with technical support teams, site supervisors, and management to analyze root causes, implement corrective measures, and improve incident prevention processes. The role also includes maintaining documentation, preparing incident reports, and supporting continuous improvement of incident management procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong incident management and incident response skills, with experience handling time-sensitive operational issues.
- Problem management capabilities, including root cause analysis and implementation of long-term corrective actions.
- Analytical skills to assess incident trends, prioritize risks, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in technical support or coordination roles within construction, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- Organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate incident records and produce concise reports.
- Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar, manage multiple incidents simultaneously, and remain calm under pressure.
- Relevant diploma or degree in engineering, construction management, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
