Role Description
The Inbound Supervisor role at Genex Logistics is a full-time position based in our Pune Division and requires on-site presence. Responsibilities include supervising inbound logistics operations, coordinating with suppliers, managing warehouse inventory, ensuring timely receipt and accuracy of deliveries, and maintaining adherence to safety and quality standards. The Inbound Supervisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and optimize inbound processes while leading and mentoring a team to meet operational objectives efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
- Inbound Logistics and Supply Chain Management skills, including inventory control and material handling.
- Proficiency in team leadership, staff mentoring, and task delegation with strong organizational capabilities.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in process improvement and workflow optimization.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and software tools for tracking and reporting.
- Knowledge of safety and quality compliance standards in logistics and supply chain operations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for supplier interactions and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and excellent time-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in inbound logistics or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
