Job Description & Summary: We are looking for a seasoned Azure Data Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks
Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes from multiple data sources
Develop and manage data warehouses and data lakes using Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
Implement data modeling for analytical and reporting use cases
Write efficient SQL queries and optimize performance for large datasets
Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and governance across platforms
Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders
Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot data issues
Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD for data pipelines
Work with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data
Mandatory skill sets:
Strong experience with Microsoft Azure Data Services
Proficiency in SQL and T-SQL
Experience with Python / PySpark / Spark SQL
Hands-on experience with Data Warehousing concepts
Knowledge of Big Data ecosystems (Spark, Hadoop – preferred)
Experience with ETL/ELT frameworks and best practices
Preferred skill sets:
Understanding of Azure security, RBAC, and data governance
Years of experience required:
4 to 8 Years
Education qualification:
BE/B.Tech/MBA/MCA/M.Tech
