Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an In-Process Quality Engineer located in Chennai. The role involves ensuring product quality during manufacturing by performing inspections, quality testing, and process audits. The responsibilities include identifying and resolving quality issues, maintaining compliance with quality standards, supporting process improvement initiatives, documenting inspection results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices for quality control.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Experience with inspection processes, testing methods, and quality auditing
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production workflows
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving quality-related issues
- Competence in communication, documentation, and reporting of quality metrics
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to improve processes
- Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, or ISO standards (preferred but not mandatory)
