- Primary Requirement: Production Quality Control & Process IntegrityThe In-Process Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all molded components meet engineering specifications through rigorous floor-side monitoring and process validation. This role acts as the primary gatekeeper between raw material input and final dispatch.Key Responsibilities & DeliverablesSetup & First-Piece Validation: Conduct mandatory 1st piece inspections across all machines to authorize production start-up. This includes reviewing the Standard Process Parameter Sheet (PPS) against actual machine settings and recording findings in the inspection log.Routine Monitoring: Execute in-process inspections every 2 hours for all active machines. This includes verifying part net weight and ensuring the "last piece" from the mold is preserved and recorded for traceability.Process Change Management: Maintain strict control over process modifications. Any change in parameters must be reflected in an updated Process Parameter Sheet (PPS) to ensure consistency.Defect & Rejection Analysis: Systematically monitor rejection rates by machine, operator, and defect type. Utilize this data to provide targeted training to operators and implement rejection control measures.Traceability & Material Flow: Maintain 100% traceability of materials from Raw Material (RM) stage through to Final Dispatch. This involves the daily review and approval of production tags for all material movement.Incident Response: Follow established procedures for abnormal conditions (e.g., power outages or machine breakdowns) and lead the response to customer complaints up to the implementation of Initial Corrective Actions (ICA).Operational Standards: Ensure the Molding Shop maintains high housekeeping standards and that all machine workstations feature current, accurate visual displays and documentation.Technical Skills RequiredExpertise in Injection Molding process parameters and defect identification (e.g., flash, short mold, sink marks).Ability to perform Layout Inspections and maintain digital production/rejection logs (soft copy entry).Proficiency in measurement tools for part weight and dimensional verification.Send your resume/cv on quality2@divinepune.com Whtsup :- 9359885358
