Job Description – In-House Legal Counsel / Legal Advisor
Position: In-House Legal Counsel / Legal Advisor
Experience Required: 3–5 Years
Industry Preference: Real Estate
Location: Bengaluru
Salary Package: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month
Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred / up to 15 days acceptable
Key Responsibilities
* Handle complete legal due diligence related to real estate projects and properties.
* Draft, review, and vet legal agreements, contracts, notices, and other legal documents.
* Represent the company in court proceedings and coordinate with external advocates when required.
* Manage all legal compliances, documentation, and statutory requirements.
* Provide legal advice and support to management on various legal matters.
* Handle litigation matters, dispute resolution, and legal risk assessment.
* Ensure proper maintenance of legal records and confidential documents.
* Coordinate with government authorities and regulatory bodies whenever necessary.
Required Skills
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Good drafting and negotiation abilities.
* Sound knowledge of real estate laws and legal procedures.
* Ability to manage legal matters independently.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Professional attitude with attention to detail.
Qualification
* LLB / LLM from a recognized university.
* Enrollment with Bar Council preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
* Candidates with prior experience in the real estate sector will be preferred.
* Immediate joiners or candidates serving short notice periods are highly desirable.
