<strong>Accounting & Supply Chain Assistant<br></strong><br>
</div><div>We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting & Supply Chain Assistant to support daily accounting operations, customer order processing, inventory management, and logistics coordination. This role works closely with the Administrator and serves as a key liaison between customers, vendors, suppliers, and freight carriers to ensure accurate accounting practices and efficient supply chain operations.<br><br>

<strong>Key Responsibilities<br></strong><br>
</div><div><strong>Accounting & Administrative Support</strong></div><div>· Maintain daily bookkeeping and accounting functions </div><div>· Set up and maintain customer and vendor accounts </div><div>· Record customer payments and vendor invoices </div><div>· Update and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable <br><br>
</div><div>· Organize and improve bookkeeping and office accounting processes <br><br>
</div><div>· Assist with year-end inventory procedures <br><br>
</div><div>
<strong>Customer Orders & Shipping Coordination<br></strong><br>
</div><div>· Process customer quotes and sales orders </div><div>· Send order acknowledgments and customer invoices </div><div>· Prepare packing slips and Bills of Lading (BOLs) </div><div>· Coordinate shipments and verify delivery completion </div><div>· Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including: </div><ul>
<li>Will-call orders </li>
<li>Collect shipments </li>
<li>Drop shipments</li>
</ul><div>
<strong><br>Supply Chain & Inventory Management<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Track raw materials and finished goods inventory levels </li>
<li>Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages </li>
<li>Assist with demand forecasting and production coordination </li>
<li>Research and evaluate suppliers and vendors </li>
<li>Negotiate pricing for raw materials and freight services </li>
<li>Review tariff rates and freight charges to identify cost-saving opportunities </li>
<li>Evaluate LTL freight partners and recommend efficient shipping routes with optimal lead times </li>
<li>Serve as liaison between freight carriers and shipping operations to maintain on-time and complete deliveries</li>

<strong>Qualifications<br></strong><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Experience in bookkeeping, accounting support, supply chain, logistics, or inventory control preferred </li>
<li>Strong organizational and multitasking abilities </li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills </li>
<li>Strong communication and customer service skills </li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment </li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software preferred </li>

<li>Knowledge of shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BOLs)</li>
<li>Experience coordinating with LTL freight carriers </li>
