The Manager, IT Engineering & Infrastructure (AI&T) at Impulse is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and operation of infrastructure platforms supporting integration, test, and engineering environments. This role owns the technical backbone of AI&T systems, including lab infrastructure, test networks, compute platforms, and supporting services required for reliable and repeatable test operations. The Manager leads a team of engineers and partners closely with AI&T and engineering organizations to ensure infrastructure supports system integration, validation, and mission readiness. This role reports into the IT organization with functional alignment to the AI&T (Assembly, Integration, and Test) team, ensuring infrastructure strategy and execution directly support integration and test objectives.
- 4+ years experience leading technical teams supporting complex infrastructure environments
- Aerospace, manufacturing, or test environment experience
- Experience with deterministic or time-sensitive systems
- Experience driving infrastructure automation and platform engineering initiatives
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments
Operational Expectations
- Onsite leadership supporting lab and operational environments
- Accountability for infrastructure readiness during test campaigns
- Participation in critical incident response and major operational events
Additional Information:Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity.
