About the role

3 years’ work experience at a senior level plus 5+ years’ of relevant experience with Group reporting, consolidation principles, strong technical knowledge of IFRS and related party transactions. Excellent working knowledge of MS office. Sage Evolution would be an advantage. Excellent report writing skills. Strong working knowledge of IFRS essential. Strong hands-on General ledger transactions and consolidation experience large enterprise accounting system. Previous experience in an international corporate environment is an added advantage Strong working knowledge of multi-currency transactions and related impacts on the financial statements Ability to multitask and work effectively both independently and in teams, ensuring timely completion of assignments and meeting established standards

Develop Systems and Processes: Identifies and implements effective processes and procedures for accomplishing goals Business Alignment: Aligns the direction, products, services, and performance of a business line with the rest of the organization. Compilation and corresponding review of financial data Preparation of a statement of income and statement of cash flow Support the global consolidation and reporting processes, including accounting for the impact of foreign exchange rates and elimination of intercompany balances and investment in subsidiaries. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Assist in preparation of necessary audit schedules to support the financials and footnote disclosures. Work with regional finance teams to align accounting policies and procedures for key areas globally. In charge of inter-company transactions, accounts and reconciliation ensure financial details are well documented. Coordinates with foreign entities’ accountants for timely financial reporting Assists in monitoring and developing monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Work with other financial teams to formulate financial policies. Assists with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. Assists with drafting and implementing corporate policy. Supports with different accounting fields, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, inventory, journal entry, etc. Interface with external auditors for periodic financial reviews, controls testing and other inquiries. Prepare management reports, budgets, and forecasts, perform qualitative and quantitative financial analysis, and liaising with auditors and stakeholders. Prepare and monitor reports of expenditure and revenue for projects, closings of books of financial statements and finalise financial statements. Participate in special projects as deemed necessary
