Key Responsibilities

• Plan imports based on forecast, MRP & ROL
• Create & track Import POs in SAP/ERP
• Coordinate with overseas vendors, CHA & freight forwarders
• Handle import documentation (PI, Invoice, PL, BL/AWB, BOE)
• Manage LC / TT coordination with Finance
• Oversee customs clearance, duty payments & logistics
• Prepare import costing & landed cost sheets
• Support negotiation, cost saving & vendor development
• Ensure closure of rejections, discrepancies & concessions

Key Deliverables

• On-time import of RM & CAPEX
• Reduced stock-outs & delays
• Cost savings & freight optimization
• Compliance with EXIM & customs regulations

Skills & Experience

• Education: B.Com / B.Tech (MBA preferred)
• Experience: 36 years in Import Purchase / EXIM
• Skills: SAP/ERP, Excel, import documentation, coordination
• Traits: Ownership, accuracy, negotiation & communication
