Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Pune for an Import Purchase Engineer. The responsibilities include managing purchasing processes, planning and executing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely procurement of high-quality materials. The role also involves analyzing market trends, evaluating vendor performance, and optimizing purchase efficiency to meet project goals and timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Purchasing Processes and Purchase Orders
- Experience in Purchase Management and Purchase Planning
- Strong Analytical Skills for vendor evaluation and market analysis
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Prior experience in import purchase and familiarity with international trade regulations is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
