Role Description
This full-time on-site role is based in Kolkata and focuses on managing international trade operations. The Import Export Manager will oversee all aspects of import-export processes, including coordinating shipments, preparing and reviewing export documentation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Additional responsibilities include maintaining strong communication with clients and partners worldwide, identifying opportunities for cost optimization, and troubleshooting any logistical or administrative challenges that may arise.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in Import, Export, and Import-Export processes and logistics
- Strong proficiency in preparing and managing Export Documentation
- Knowledge of International Trade regulations and practices
- Excellent Communication skills for effective coordination with stakeholders
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred)
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
- Proficiency in using import-export software and tools is an advantage
