Main Purpose of Job
Handling logistic function which is the core function in Atomy India operation
1. Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance
2. Demand and Forecasting, PO raise and coordinate, first point of contact for importing material, Custom clearance, Warehouse and You will contribute towards setting up logistic function and responsible for running logistic function in most efficient way as compared to other subsidiaries of Atomy and competition in India.
Job Summary
- Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance
- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
- Coordinate end-to-end PO lifecycles by raising new orders in GSCM upon stakeholder approvals, while actively liaising with HQ, international manufacturers , and local producers to resolve pending items and ensure timely supply.
- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs
- Co-ordinate with CHA(Clearing House Agent), Warehouse in charge and Last mile delivery partner for smooth functioning of the operation
- Finalize forwarder shipment bookings based on optimal cost and transit times, strictly auditing core shipping documents (BL, CI-PL, COO, CoA) for necessary revisions, and executing critical compliance filings including PD/Test and FDS Indemnity bonds.
- Inventory management
- Efficiently operate and manage all resources wrt logistic functions
- Create processes and maintain documents for end to end logistics
- Regularly visit to warehouse and audit process as per documents
- Continuously improve all efficiencies and processes wrt logistic operation
- Collaborate with logistic partners for continuous improvement
- Implement best practices in end to end logistics
- Identify and eliminate non value added activities
- Continuously upgrade function with latest tools and techniques
- MIS and reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly)
- Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock
- Ensure metrics, reports, and process documentation is available
- 5S activities in logistic operation

Skills & Knowledges
- Fluency in English & Hindi is must
- Good command over Excel, power point
- Analytical skills
- Latest IT advancements for logistics /SCM 4.0

- ISO & Six Sigma/Lean
- 5S/Kaizen/Poka Yoke
Qualifications
Graduation/MBA in supply chain management from reputed college/university
Experience & Age: -
- Min 3 years of experience in similar profile & Age less than 35 years,
