Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import Executive to support the Import Purchase team in managing international procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling import documentation, coordinating with Customs House Agents (CHA), and ensuring smooth customs clearance of imported raw materials and chemical products. The role requires strong coordination with internal departments, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Handle end-to-end import documentation and shipment coordination.
- Coordinate with Customs House Agents (CHA) for timely customs clearance of imported goods.
- Manage documentation related to imports such as Bill of Entry, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and other regulatory documents.
- Track and follow up on import shipments to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
- Coordinate with the Import Purchase team regarding shipment schedules and documentation requirements.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import policies, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and related documentation.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and internal departments for shipment movement.
- Monitor duty structures, regulatory requirements, and import compliance for chemicals and raw materials.
- Resolve any issues related to customs clearance, documentation discrepancies, or shipment delays.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Logistics / Supply Chain / Business Administration or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Import Operations, preferably in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of customs clearance procedures, import documentation, and logistics coordination.
- Experience in coordinating with CHA, freight forwarders, and international suppliers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is preferred.
