Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for an Import Customer Service Senior. The primary responsibilities include managing import/export activities, coordinating with international trade partners, and providing exceptional customer service. The role requires effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring seamless operational execution and accurate documentation for logistics processes. The candidate will also analyze and resolve inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with trade regulations.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Import and Export processes, and a thorough understanding of Import Export documentation
- Experience in Customer Service, with strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of International Trade practices and compliance regulations
- Ability to manage logistics operations efficiently and handle client communication effectively
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
- Previous experience in a similar role within the logistics or freight industry is an advantage
