Role Description
The Import Assistant will support day-to-day import operations and assist with documentation, customs clearance, and coordination of shipments. Responsibilities include managing import processes, liaising with customs and freight service providers, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining shipment records. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Customs Brokerage and expertise in Import/Export processes
- Understanding of International Trade and global shipping practices
- Excellent Communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external service providers
- Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing documentation and compliance
- Experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field is preferred
