ZestIoT Technologies builds intelligent software for aviation ground operations. Our IoT layer is the foundation of real-time equipment tracking — powering arrival and departure detection, equipment connectivity events, and conveyor loading/unloading insights across airports worldwide. We are looking for a hands-on IoT Engineer to own the full lifecycle of our IoT devices — from assembly and configuration to customer deployment and ongoing health monitoring. This role sits at the intersection of hardware, software, and customer success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Device Assembly & Readiness:
• Own end-to-end device readiness processes for deployment across customer sites
• Assemble, configure, and validate IoT devices (Teltonika, SICK, magnetic sensors, and equivalent hardware)
• Implement device provisioning workflows, including firmware flashing and configuration standards
• Maintain device inventory strategy, spares planning, and readiness SLAs Deployment & Customer Installation
• Perform IoT device deployment across customer environments
• Coordinate with customer stakeholders for installation planning and execution
• Provide remote and on-site technical guidance during installations
• Ensure successful deployment by validating data flow, event accuracy, and platform integration
• Conduct training sessions and technical workshops for global customer teams on IoT systems, device usage, and installation best practices
• Provide ongoing guidance and remote support to customer stakeholders to ensure successful adoption and operation of deployed solutions
• Device Health, Monitoring & Reliability
• Define and enhance device health monitoring frameworks (connectivity, battery, signal quality, event accuracy)
• Proactively identify systemic issues and drive root cause analysis
• Lead incident response for device outages and ensure SLA adherence Confidential
• Data, Automation & Tooling
• Use internal tools for monitoring, and log analysis
• Identify repeatable problems and collaborate with engineering team to develop automation, diagnostics, and large-scale device management.
