Good understanding and knowledge of TCP/IP networking: Including L2/L3/L4/L7 protocols (SIP, RTP, SMTP, HTTP, POP3, FTP, STP, VLAN, VTP, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, GTP, GRE,DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP/S and SNMP) Strong Understanding of PCAP, DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) Deployment and performance optimization of– Suricata / SNORT/ Zeek. Creating and adopting Rules for IDS/IPS, Experience in working large networks ~ 10G/100G/400G.
