IMPACCT Brooklyn is seeking an enthusiastic Energy Fit Project Manager to oversee a pioneering demonstration project designed to significantly benefit the Brooklyn community. You will support homeowners and renters in boosting energy efficiency, lowering greenhouse gas emissions, and enhancing home health and safety — all while ensuring the affordability of 38 small two- and three-family homes. This is a rare opportunity to participate in an innovative program that directly promotes community well-being and sustainability. This position will report to the Director of Home Services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Program Manager will work closely with team members to:
- Conduct outreach and engagement to identify and connect with potentially eligible households, building strong relationships within the Central Brooklyn community.
- Manage the day-to-day implementation of project activities, ensuring timelines and program goals are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between homeowners and general contractors, facilitating coordination, reviewing contractor reports, and ensuring work scopes align with project goals and homeowner needs.
- Conduct assessments to determine homeowner eligibility and assist with the completion of program applications.
- Identify and match appropriate funding sources to project measures and initiatives.
- Collect, enter, and manage program data and produce timely, accurate reports.
- Obtain homeowner consent for direct access to energy bills and usage data.
- Follow up with clients to assess the impact on energy bills at 6- and 12-month intervals.
- Responsible for program evaluation efforts to measure outcomes and inform continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
