IMOS Senior Furniture Technical Designer - Remote (India)

We design and manufacture high-end kitchens, wardrobes, and living spaces for residential and commercial clients. We are expanding our design team and looking for talented individuals in India to join us remotely.

The Role
We are looking for a responsible, reliable, enthusiastic individual to join our busy bespoke kitchen & furniture manufacturer’s team.
The successful candidate will be expected to undertake the development of bespoke furniture from plans sent by designers through to manufacture, including material and component specifications, production of prototypes and drawings as necessary to suit brief, and 2D CAD experience essential. Experience in similar role in technical production of Kitchens and Wardrobes is mandatory
The Role will combine design and project management, with following duties;
- Taking a concept from designers plan through to working IMOS drawings to a final product.
- Candidate must have minimum of 5 years in a role involved in making cutting list and preparing production drawings for furniture related to kitchens and wardrobes.
- Optimising sheet material using cutting list prepared for cutting on cnc beam saw
- Prepare CAD CAM programs for CNC using automated IMOS CAD CAM systems
- Must have experience of CAM configuration in IMOS and advanced level of technical understanding of IMOS Software
- XML configuration of plan version of IMOS is prefered.
The Ideal Candidate must have the following experience:
- CAM & XML setup in IMOS: 2 years (Preferred)
- Working in production floor of furniture manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
- Preparing production orders using IMOS Software: 5 years (Preferred)
- Working on CNC machine and beamsaw: 2 years (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Working Hours: 12:00pm – 9:00pm IST, Monday – Friday | Half day Saturday
Location: Remote (Work from Home, India)
