Role Description The IML Robotics Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. The role involves operating and monitoring in-mold labeling (IML) robotic systems and associated machinery used in the production of reusable food containers. Responsibilities include setting up machines, loading materials, adjusting parameters, and ensuring smooth, continuous operation. The operator will perform routine checks, identify and report equipment issues, and follow safety and quality standards throughout the production process. Collaboration with the production and quality teams is required to meet output targets and maintain product consistency.
Qualifications
- Ability to operate and monitor production and IML robotic machinery, with strong Machine Operation skills.
- Experience with Quality Control processes to ensure products meet established standards.
- Comfortable working with Machinery and Hand Tools for basic adjustments and maintenance.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly.
- Basic technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or related fields is an advantage.
- Understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience in plastics, packaging, or container manufacturing is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
