About The Position
Candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with International Material Data System (IMDS) regulations and guidelines for our products. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including Design, Engineering, and Manufacturing, to ensure that our products meet the required IMDS standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all products are compliant with IMDS regulations and guidelines, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage and maintain material data for all products, including creation and updating of IMDS files, and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to ensure that products are designed with IMDS compliance in mind and provide guidance on material selection and substitution.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with non-compliance and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
Requirements
1Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 4-6 years of experience in IMDS compliance, product design, or related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IMDS regulations and guidelines, material data management, and design for compliance.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
