2026 Women in Trading & Technology Program – Quant Trading

IMC Women in Trading & Technology is an immersive three-day program designed for women in their second year of study who are eager to explore the fast-paced world of high-frequency trading. IMC is committed to supporting diverse talent, and this program provides participants with a unique opportunity to explore how their skills can lead to exciting careers in trading, research and technology. The program will be held in our Chicago office. Travel & accommodations will be provided by IMC for participants not local to Chicago. What You'll Do: Learn the Basics: Get hands-on exposure to the fundamentals of trading and engineering through interactive sessions and desk shadows led by IMC's traders and software engineers, designed to help you learn and get inspired. Hands-On Experience: Dive into the action with a dynamic market simulation where you'll follow the flow of a trade and explore the roles of quantitative researcher, trader, and software engineer. Personalized Mentorship: Be matched with mentor to start building your IMC network and receive ongoing mentorship after the program, supporting your continued learning and exploration of opportunities. Elevate your Career: Program participants will complete an accelerated interview process for the Summer 2027 Quant Trading Internship before applications open to the public. This program offers a powerful combination of education, mentorship, and hands-on experience, designed to equip you with the knowledge and connections to thrive in the competitive world of trading and technology.
