About the role

The Finance and Administrative Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Platform. Reporting Lines: The incumbent will report to the CLP Officer for India, while technically reporting to the Deputy Director of ILO Country Office for India. S/he will receive technical support, guidance and advice from the FUNDAMENTALS in HQ and DWT/CO- Delhi. The ADFIN and Programme team in the CO New Delhi will be sought for coordination and collaboration. Description of Duties 1. Maintain CLP financial records and monitoring systems to record and reconcile expenditures, balances, payments, statements and other data for daily transactions and reports. 2. Check, review, process and prepare all documentation, including contracts, and ensure correctness and accuracy for financial clearances and payments. 3. Classify and assign budget codes, verify and process claims for payment, check payment vouchers, prices and claims invoices. 4. Provide administrative and financial support and guidance to the CLP in India and consultants with respect to payments, entitlements, travel claims and other requirements relating to accounts and finance. 5. Prepare recurring reports as scheduled and assist in preparing special reports for donor reporting, for budget preparation, audits or other reasons. 6. Calculate and compile cost estimates and participate in budget analysis and forecasts as required. 7. Provide support, when necessary, in the preparation and running of CLP's workshops and meetings. 8. Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
