This position supervises engineers and maintenance technicians who perform maintenance services and repair complex electrical and mechanical production equipment. Other main responsibilities include: Implementing standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Coordinating resources for troubleshooting equipment repairs. Training and coaching workers in best practices and safety procedures and monitoring work orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Equipment Manager in implementing target management, managing spare parts, fault indicators, quality indicators, maintenance costs, and driving improvements in production capacity. Also, engage in special research projects, fault analysis, and share technical knowledge to enhance front-end equipment efficiency.
Organize and execute technical improvement projects, conduct equipment-related technical, quality, and safety assessments, and assist superiors in implementing new equipment and technologies.
Assist superiors in daily equipment maintenance tasks, execute PM (Preventive Maintenance) schedule tasks, and handle inspections, repairs, and patrols for production equipment. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers as needed.
Oversee a team of equipment engineers and technicians. Offer guidance, training, and mentorship to meet departmental objectives.
Responsible for equipment technical summaries, problem investigation and resolution, training material, SOP development, and maintaining archives related to the assigned area.
Organize and conduct training sessions for operators on equipment autonomous maintenance and safe operations, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
Handle the management and purchase of spare parts, set safety stock levels, and continuously recommend cost-saving maintenance solutions through efficient spare parts management.
Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor, ensuring all departmental needs are addressed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. A Master's degree or relevant certifications would be advantageous.
3-5 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor and at least one year in a supervisory or leadership position.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with other departments and training staff.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
