Position Summary
The IT Manager is the senior-most technology leader at O6 Environmental, responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s technology environment. This role will own the IT strategy, manage third-party vendors (including the Managed Service Provider), and ensure that technology systems support operational efficiency, scalability, and business growth.
The IT Manager will also play a critical role in supporting the company’s growth strategy by leading technology due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts, ensuring newly acquired businesses are efficiently and securely integrated into O6 Environmental’s systems and processes.
This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring both strategic vision and tactical execution.

Key Responsibilities
Technology Leadership & Strategy
• Develop and execute a strategic technology roadmap aligned with the Company’s existing business goals and growth plans
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and scalability
• Serve as the primary advisor to leadership on all IT-related matters
Systems & Applications Management
• Own the company’s technology stack, including ERP, project management, field service tools, and collaboration platforms
• Identify opportunities to utilize new technology solutions, driving efficiency in company operations and scalability
• Lead implementation and optimization of business systems
Vendor & MSP Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for the company’s Managed Service Provider
• Manage relationships with software, hardware, and telecommunications providers
• Hold vendors accountable for service levels, deliverables, and cost efficiency
Cybersecurity & Compliance
• Establish and enforce IT security policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry standards
• Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Support & End-User Experience
• Ensure responsive IT support for office and field employees
• Improve user experience through training, documentation, and system enhancements
Budget & Planning
• Develop and manage the IT budget and special project budgets
• Optimize technology spend while maintaining performance and security
• Evaluate ROI on technology investments in conjunction with the executive team
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Technology Integration
• Lead IT due diligence for acquisitions through the management of due diligence vendors and individual assessment of the targets IT environment
• Develop and execute post-acquisition IT integration plans with the assistance of the executive team, including system migrations, data consolidation, and network standardization
• Establish integration timelines, priorities, and success metrics aligned with overall deal objectives
• Identify opportunities to standardize systems, realize efficiencies, and drive growth across acquired entities

Qualifications
Required
• 7+ years of progressive IT experience, including leadership responsibility
• Experience managing MSPs and third-party vendors
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS), and cybersecurity best practices
• Proven ability to develop and execute IT strategy in a growing organization
• Hands-on technical capability with the ability to troubleshoot when needed
Preferred
• Experience supporting M&A technology integration or system consolidation efforts
• Experience in industrial services, construction, environmental services, or field-based organizations
• Familiarity with ERP systems, project-based operations, or field service management platforms
• Experience supporting multi-site or geographically distributed teams
