About the role

Key Responsibilities: Writing: Develop clear, concise, and accurate medical content for various types of documents, including but not limited to manuscripts, review articles, clinical study reports, regulatory documents, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and marketing materials. Ensure all documents comply with industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements. Conduct comprehensive literature searches and stay updated with the latest developments in the medical and scientific fields relevant to assigned projects. Edit and proofread documents to ensure the highest quality of writing, accuracy, and consistency. Project Management: Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously (for self and the team), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Collaborate with clients, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to gather information and ensure accuracy and relevance of content. Maintain clear communication with clients to understand their needs, provide regular updates, and address any issues or concerns. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor project progress against these benchmarks. Team building: Mentor and train junior writers, providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their writing skills and improve the quality of their work. Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional development. Participate in hiring and onboarding processes for new team members, ensuring they receive the necessary training and support to succeed in their roles. Qualifications: Advanced degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field (PhD, MD, masters, or equivalent preferred). Minimum of 7 years of experience in medical writing, with a proven track record of producing high-quality medical and scientific documents. Strong understanding of medical terminology, clinical research, and regulatory requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in literature search databases and reference management software. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Experience in mentoring and training junior writers is a plus. § Knowledge about writing and research AI tools.
