Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Automation Engineer with expertise in automation testing and software development. The ideal candidate will have experience in testing web, mobile, and Windows applications, along with strong coding skills and a proactive attitude to adopt new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and Windows applications.
- Perform end-to-end testing, including front-end and back-end validation.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium) for efficient testing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Utilize automation tools and source code management systems like Git and JIRA for efficient tracking and version control.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Create and maintain testing documentation, including test plans and test cases.
- Work in Agile environments, managing work planning, estimation, and distribution.
Required Skills
- Programming and Tools:
- Core Java, Selenium, Appium, POI library
- HTML, CSS, xPath, jQuery, JavaScript
- Testing Knowledge:
- Web browser testing
- Android/iOS testing (including emulators like Android Studio)
- Windows application testing
- Testing lifecycle: Unit Testing (UT), Integration Testing (IT), System Testing (ST)
- Automation Tools:
- AutoIT, WinAutomation, QTP
- Database Skills:
- SQL (Tables, Queries, Joins, Conditions)
- SQL editors like DBeaver
- Version Control and Bug Tracking:
- GIT, JIRA
- Device and Utilities:
- Android/iOS/Kindle emulators
- Mirroring tools like Vysor
- MS Excel
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Web development experience
- UNIX shell scripting, stored procedures, and job schedulers
- Knowledge of PHP and VBA
- Strong documentation skills
