Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Ignition Engineer based in Pune, with flexibility for remote work when needed. The Ignition Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying SCADA applications using Ignition’s platform for clients across various industries. Key tasks include configuring and integrating SCADA systems, writing scripts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system optimization. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure efficient project execution and technological excellence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in SCADA design and deployment, with expertise in the Ignition platform, scripting, and communication protocols such as OPC-UA.
- Hands-on experience in Industrial Automation, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA configuration, and system integration.
- Strong knowledge of database systems, query writing, and data analysis, particularly with SQL and Ignition databases.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for collaborating with both technical teams and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field; experience with additional platforms like Siemens, Rockwell, or Schneider is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry standards, cybersecurity practices, and compliance related to Industrial Automation is advantageous.
