About the role

Rock Paper Shotgun (RPS) is looking to expand its reviews capability. Long a leader in PC focused news, reviews and features, RPS is now aiming to increase the quality, quantity and reach of its reviews content. As Reviews Editor, you will work closely with our staff writers, the Editorial Director, and our award-winning team to build the best original PC games reviews on the internet. As well as writing reviews yourself, you'll help set our content strategy for the section, selecting the right games, approaches, editorial angles, and work with our extensive freelance pool. You will make sure our reviews are in tune with the editorial voice of RPS, and ensure they meet the highest standards of being informative while also engaging and entertaining. You will manage our reviews scheduling and output, and our freelance budget, making sure the team's time is always well spent. You'll get your hands on the latest releases and learn them inside and out, tearing them down to give readers everything they need to enjoy them to the fullest. And you'll have an opportunity to add your own voice to one of the most respected editorial teams in the business.
