Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an IGCSE School Principal. The Principal will be responsible for overseeing academic and administrative functions, leading curriculum development, ensuring the school meets IGCSE standards, and promoting high-quality educational outcomes. The role also involves mentoring teachers, fostering a collaborative environment, engaging with parents, and ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Curriculum Development and a thorough understanding of IGCSE educational frameworks.
- Previous experience as a Principal or in a similar leadership role in an educational institution
- Deep understanding of the Cambridge curriculum and experience with its implementation
- Strong Educational Leadership skills to guide staff and students and manage school operations effectively.
- Excellent Communication skills to liaise with faculty, parents, and stakeholders successfully.
- Experience in managing Middle School programs, with an emphasis on enhancing student engagement and performance.
- Background in Education, with a minimum of a postgraduate degree in education or a related field.
- Proven track record of leadership in an academic environment, preferably in an IGCSE school setting.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic, student-focused environment and a passion for driving educational innovation.
