We're hiring Physics Tutors for personalised 1-on-1 online sessions with Grade 9–12 students following British (GCSE / A Levels — CIE, Edexcel, AQA) or American (AP Physics, Common Core) curriculum.
You will:
- Conduct individual sessions tailored to each student's pace, level, and learning style
- Create custom content from scratch — notes, diagrams, problem sets, and revision guides specific to each student
- Cover core and advanced topics including mechanics, waves, electricity, magnetism, thermodynamics, nuclear physics, and astrophysics as per the student's grade and syllabus
- Simplify abstract concepts through real-world applications, experiments, and visual explanations
- Provide exam-focused preparation with past papers, mark-scheme analysis, and exam technique coaching
- Track progress through regular assessments and adapt your approach accordingly
Non-negotiables:
- Degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience teaching British or American physics curricula
- Prior EdTech or online tutoring experience
- Ability to create original, student-specific learning material
- Strong conceptual clarity and the ability to break down complex topics for different grade levels
Nice to have:
- Experience teaching across both Grade 9–10 (GCSE / Pre-AP) and Grade 11–12 (A Level / AP) levels
- Familiarity with multiple exam boards and their grading patterns
- Experience with practical/lab-based teaching in an online setup
Compensation:
- Grade 9–10: ₹600/session
- Grade 11–12: ₹800/session
