We're hiring Biology Tutors for personalised 1-on-1 online sessions with Grade 9–12 students following British (GCSE / A Levels — CIE, Edexcel, AQA) or American (AP Biology, Common Core) curriculum.
You will:
- Conduct individual sessions tailored to each student's pace, level, and learning style
- Create custom content from scratch — notes, diagrams, flowcharts, case studies, and revision guides specific to each student
- Cover core and advanced topics including cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, human physiology, biochemistry, and molecular biology as per the student's grade and syllabus
- Make complex biological processes easy to visualise through diagrams, analogies, and real-world examples
- Provide exam-focused preparation with past papers, mark-scheme analysis, and structured answer-writing practice
- Track progress through regular assessments and adapt your approach accordingly
Non-negotiables:
- Degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience teaching British or American biology curricula
- Prior EdTech or online tutoring experience
- Ability to create original, student-specific learning material
- Strong command over both theoretical concepts and application-based questions
Nice to have:
- Experience teaching across both Grade 9–10 (GCSE / Pre-AP) and Grade 11–12 (A Level / AP) levels
- Familiarity with multiple exam boards and their marking patterns
- Experience teaching diagram-heavy and data-analysis questions in an online setup
Compensation:
- Grade 9–10: ₹600/session
- Grade 11–12: ₹800/session
