Undergraduate Trainee – DevOps Engineer

IFS is looking for a passionate Undergraduate Trainee – DevOps Engineer to join its Research and Development team, focusing on Quality Engineering and Platform Operations. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain real-world DevOps experience, work with cloud-native tools, and develop best practices within a global enterprise software leader. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and analyze system performance and logs to identify areas for improvement Contribute to the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines Learn DevOps and Platform Operations methodologies Gain hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible Support version control workflows using Git Get exposure to major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Assist in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes Participate in code reviews and contribute to software quality improvement Document DevOps processes and maintain runbooks Collaborate with teams to troubleshoot and resolve software issues Required Skills: Basic knowledge of Java, Python, or C++ Familiarity with software testing and QA methodologies Exposure to version control systems (Git preferred) Interest in DevOps and platform engineering concepts Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent teamwork and communication abilities Understanding of CI/CD principles is a plus Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is beneficial
