Software Engineer

IDFC FIRST Bank is looking for passionate Software Engineers to join our dynamic team in Mumbai. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that drive our digital banking solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products and services that enhance the customer experience. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software applications using the latest technologies and best practices. - Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Continuously improve and optimize existing systems to enhance performance, reliability, and user experience. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in software development, with a strong background in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++. - Hands-on experience in building web applications, microservices, and APIs using frameworks like Spring Boot, Django, or Flask. - Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and experience in designing and optimizing database solutions. - Understanding of agile software development methodologies and experience in working in an Agile environment. - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
