Political Analyst/Field Political Analyst

The Field Political Analyst will play a crucial role in providing real-time political intelligence and qualitative inputs from the ground. The role requires rigorous fieldwork, local media monitoring, and assisting in data collection and translation to support strategic decision-making. The candidate must have a deep understanding of local political dynamics and constituency-level issues while maintaining an unbiased and neutral approach. Key Responsibilities: Qualitative Research & Fieldwork: Conducting extensive field visits, FGDs, IDIs and developing a detailed sub-assembly level understanding. Providing real-time feedback on on-ground political developments, party activities, and local issues. Identifying emerging political trends and potential escalations in the constituency. Monitoring local media coverage to assess political narratives and stakeholder sentiments Data Collection & Analytical Support: Sourcing past electoral results, caste equations, and voting trends in the constituency. Assisting in data collection, manual data entry, and cleaning tasks to ensure accuracy. Translating local inputs and reports from Bengali to English or Hindi, as required. Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination: Facilitating contact-building for Assembly In-Charges (AICs) and Zone In-Charges (ZICs). Helping in identifying key influencers, grassroots leaders, and community stakeholders. Coordinating with local sources and field teams to ensure timely information flow.
