General Position Summary:
This position supports the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of programs and initiatives within the Court Services Division. The Court Services Project Coordinator assists with project coordination, program support, stakeholder collaboration, and operational improvement efforts that enhance access, efficiency, and service delivery across the courts. The position reports to the Senior Manager, Court Access and Operations.
Position Duties

- Assists with cross-divisional collaboration, including serving as a liaison with Information Technology staff on shared projects and system improvements;
- Supports the coordination and implementation of projects and initiatives within the Court Services Division;
- Coordinates assigned projects and initiatives within the Court Services Division, including developing project plans, timelines, task tracking tools, and status reports;
- Monitors project performance and provides regular status updates to leadership, identifying risks, dependencies, or resource constraints and proposing mitigation strategies;
- Coordinates cross-divisional and cross-functional efforts to support system improvements, operational initiatives, and technology implementations;
- Supports the implementation of technology-based solutions by coordinating user testing, gathering feedback, documenting requirements, and assisting with rollout planning;
- Organizes and supports stakeholder engagement activities, including surveys or focus groups;
- Assists with the development of training plans, communication materials, and technical assistance resources to support program or system implementations;
- Plans, facilitates and conducts project meetings, including documenting discussion and distributing minutes and action items ;
- Measures, evaluates and communicates project performance;
- Coordinates project deliverables to ensure they are completed within target timeframes and are consistently high-quality, with escalation to project leads to ensure risk remediation is carried out timely;
- Tracks the development, review, and approval process for forms, policies and procedures, related to court services initiatives;
- Provides operational support to statewide court access and service delivery initiatives;
- Researches best practices and emerging trends to inform project planning and recommends process improvements aligned with division objectives;
- Conducts basic legal or policy research and assists with recommendations related to rule, statutory, or form changes as needed;
- Supports judicial branch committees or workgroups by coordinating project-related tasks, timelines, and deliverables;
- Assists with maintaining web-based or digital resources related to court services and public access; and
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
The Idaho Supreme Court reserve the right to consider an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience necessary to successfully perform the major responsibilities of the position.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, public policy, judicial administration, law, or related field and;
- A minimum of three (3) years professional experience coordinating, planning, or managing projects;
- Preference may be given to candidates with experience working with self-represented litigants, civil legal aid, court programs and services, or providing access to justice services.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of the Idaho court system, including legal processes, court programs and services, court documents, rules, and procedures;
- Knowledge of Adobe programs and MS Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of and experience with Access to Justice issues such as court assistance offices, self-represented litigants, and self-help forms;
- Knowledge of plain language principles and development of resources designed for self-represented litigants;
- Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of legal research and writing;
- Skill in working with all individuals in a respectful and professional manner;
- Skill in proof-reading and attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction;
- Ability to work on multiple projects and organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines;
- Ability to work with and develop consensus solutions with various stakeholders;
- Ability to conduct project planning, development, implementation, and evaluation;
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
- Ability to present to groups in-person or remotely;
- Ability to analyze complex issues and data and develop feasible solutions;
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with court personnel, judges, other justice agency partners, and the general public;
- Ability to exercise sound professional judgment and makes independent decisions; and
- Ability to travel throughout the State of Idaho.
