About The Role
A reputed multispecialty hospital in Mumbai is looking for dedicated and patient-focused ICU Medical Officers / Resident Doctors to join its Critical Care team.
This opportunity is ideal for medical professionals seeking hands-on exposure in ICU management, emergency response, and advanced patient care while working closely with experienced Intensivists and Consultants.
Candidates with strong clinical judgment, emergency handling skills, and a passion for critical care are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage critically ill patients in ICU settings
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and Code Blue situations
- Assist consultants and intensivists during critical procedures
- Monitor patient vitals and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatment protocols
- Coordinate with nursing and multidisciplinary teams for effective patient care
- Ensure smooth patient handovers during shift transitions
- Communicate patient condition updates to attendants as per hospital protocols
- Follow ICU protocols, infection control standards, and ethical medical practices
Required Skills
- Knowledge of ICU protocols and emergency care management
- Ability to handle patient monitoring systems and life support equipment
- Basic airway management and emergency stabilization skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in critical situations
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS / BAMS / BHMS qualification
- Prior ICU Training is mandatory
- 1–3 years of experience in ICU, Critical Care, or Emergency departments
- Valid MMC or respective council registration preferred
