Job details:
1. Patient Management
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor and manage hemodynamic parameters, ventilation, and organ support
- Diagnose and manage life-threatening conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, shock, and multi-organ failure
2. Clinical Procedures
- Perform advanced ICU procedures including:
- Endotracheal intubation
- Central venous and arterial line insertion
- Chest tube placement
- Basic and advanced life support (BLS/ACLS)
3. Ventilator & Life Support Management
- Manage invasive and non-invasive ventilation
- Optimize oxygenation and ventilation strategies
- Oversee use of dialysis (CRRT), vasopressors, and other organ support systems
4. Clinical Decision Making
- Interpret laboratory investigations, imaging, and bedside monitoring data
- Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Take rapid decisions in emergency and critical situations
5. Multidisciplinary Coordination
- Collaborate with specialists (cardiology, neurology, surgery, etc.) for integrated patient care
- Supervise and guide junior doctors, residents, and ICU nursing staff
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding clinical status and prognosis
6. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records
- Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control policies, and ethical standards
- Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives
