Permitting Coordinator
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and organized Permitting Coordinator in our Wesley Chapel offices to support our Production/Operations Department. This role is responsible for assisting with permitting processes, coordinating documentation, and maintaining accurate project records across multiple counties and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with permitting activities, including preparation and submission of permit applications
- Review construction documents for completeness and required corrections prior to submission
- Provide administrative support to Builders, including documentation and correspondence
- Organize, separate, and file incoming documents into permitting job files
- Apply for job site utilities according to county requirements
- Prepare and submit permit packages to various counties
- Track permit status using multiple county websites
- Prepare Builder Packages and send project release notifications
- Submit Architectural Review Board (ARB) applications and approvals for multiple communities
- Record Notices of Commencement
- Ensure all files are accurately maintained on local drives
- Organize and maintain project and permitting files
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Permitting Manager

- Ability to maintain professionalism with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong multitasking capabilities
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Minimum of 2 years of related administrative or permitting experience

- Office‑based position
- Requires use of standard office equipment
