Senior Environmental Specialist

The Senior Environmental Specialist will perform Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) advisory and implementation support to help clients navigate ESG-related challenges and opportunities. This will include supporting the development of ESG strategies, policies, and programs, as well as conducting assessments, providing recommendations, and supporting implementation of ESG initiatives. The Senior Environmental Specialist will also assist with environmental permitting, compliance, and project management, as well as other environmental and sustainability-related services. Responsibilities: - Assist clients with developing and implementing ESG strategies, programs, and initiatives - Conduct ESG assessments, benchmarking, and gap analyses - Provide recommendations to clients on ESG-related issues and opportunities - Support environmental permitting, compliance, and project management activities - Contribute to a variety of environmental and sustainability-related services - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated client solutions - Conduct research, analysis, and reporting to support client deliverables - Maintain subject matter expertise in relevant environmental and sustainability topics Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field - 7+ years of experience in environmental consulting, sustainability, or a related field - Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and best practices - Proven track record of providing ESG advisory and implementation support to clients - Familiarity with environmental permitting, compliance, and project management processes - Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data analysis tools
